About Us

BSA Troop 304 is based in Rockledge, Florida. With over 60 years of scouting history, we have a good understanding of the unique needs of our community and our scouts.

We currently offer a BSA Troop for Boys and a BSA Troop for Girls, operating as linked troops. This means that many of our adult volunteers work with both troops, our troops meet at the same time at the same place, and our scouts have the opportunity to work together on camping trips, events, and in meetings. While the linked troop model can present various challenges in addressing the unique interests of scouts, it also provides unique opportunities to learn from more peers with additional skillsets.

Our troop is youth driven and youth oriented. Our youth leadership, in collaboration with their peers, develop and plan weekly meetings and monthly campouts, including areas and activities throughout the state of Florida and beyond. Depending on availability and interest, they even occasionally plan more than one campout in active months.

We know that youth activities continue to increase in price every year, and our troop has grown to address these issues. We specialize in offering fundraising opportunities, planning affordable but engaging events, and working with our council and local partners to provide financial support to families with a need. We strongly believe that money should never prevent a scout from having an opportunity to learn and grow with their friends.

Our weekly meetings are a great place to learn more about our troop and Scouts BSA in general. We love meeting new people, and would love to see you at Rockledge Presbyterian Church on Monday nights (7-8:30pm). If you'd feel more comfortable, please feel free to reach out via email as well.
